An automatic label placement system prints, applies and verifies labels on assembled boards. The LabelPRO is a compact table-top station that replaces a hand-applied label with a printer, a pick-and-place head and a barcode reader, so position is repeatable and every code is confirmed readable before the board moves on.
The LABEL PRO has been designed to remove the redundant operation of picking and placing labels by operator. Mated with a 600 DPI Zebra printer, the system can print on demand or through an MES network, with labels as small as 6 mm square at a high degree of resolution. PCB mapping allows for on-screen programming, vision for accurate placement, verification for readability (with re-print function), and an internal scaleable PCB holder eliminating the need for fixtures.
