PCB handling equipment moves bare and populated boards between process steps — loading magazines, conveying, buffering, turning, inverting and unloading. It is the connective tissue of an SMT line: the machines that decide whether printers, placement and reflow run continuously or wait on an operator.
PROMATION offers CGC-80C and TGC-80 series passageway conveyors designed to provide an open pathway through the production line. The conveyor shuttle mechanism extends to deliver PCBs across the pathway using 3mm ESD edge belts. The units feature SMEMA interface compatibility and PLC timers for tracking PCB progress. A hand crank adjusts rail width, while a servo drive enables users to configure extension speed and travel distance programming. Standard maximum opening is 800mm, with custom lengths available.
