AR Support Smart Glasses
A robotic soldering system automates through-hole and selective solder joints using a programmed iron or laser head. Instead of an operator touching each joint, the machine repeats a taught path at a fixed temperature, feed rate and dwell — producing the same joint on the first board of a shift and the thousandth.
The new AR Smart Glasses allow operators a heads-up display of instructional sets and videos to be pulled up and utlized directly in front of the robotic soldering work cell. In addition, PROMATION will be offering a support package that allows for a private VPN and Server login that toggles a live PROMATION representative to get a first person view into the support or troubleshooting issue. Live Agents can submit and send messages directly to the Smart Wear for instant support and resolution.
